USU Eastern’s esports program continues to grow, proudly competing in the NJCAAe — an organization offering competitive collegiate esports in nearly 20 game titles.
This year, USU Eastern fielded teams in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Fortnite, Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8, and Apex Legends. Under the guidance of Coach Steven Lowe, the teams have shown impressive progress and competitive spirit.
A standout achievement came from Smash Bros competitor Ian Diaz, who earned 2nd place in the regional competition, securing a coveted spot at Nationals!
