The Australian Catholic University is being condemned by its own students, after wrongly accusing many of them of cheating on their assignments by using artificial intelligence.
The scholars say the claims were made even worse by the fact the uni was using AI to detect supposed AI cheats.
The university has now dumped the software.
But some students have told PM they suffered terrible stress as they tried to exonerate themselves.
