Robotera XHAND1 Robotic Hand Esports
Robotera recently showed off the XHAND1 as an “esports hand,” claiming it can hit 10 clicks per second. How so? This five-fingered robotic hand boasts 12 degrees of freedom (3 for the thumb and index, 2 for the others), packed with high-precision tactile sensors that can pick up everything from surface texture to temperature.

It’s claimed to be able to hit 10 clicks per second, which is pro-gamer-level speed. There’s even talk and a short demo of controlling it with Apple Vision Pro for ultra-precise inputs. XHAND1 pairs with Robotera’s ERA-42, a large-scale embodied AI model, that lets it perform over 100 tasks, including automated tricks or reactive behaviors (like waving to chat or throwing up emotes) during streams.

What’s cool is the potential beyond esports. The XHAND1’s sensors and AI integration make it a beast for embodied intelligence, like factory work or household chores. But it’s also strange to think we’re at a point where a robot hand might out-click a human in a game.

When attached to Robotera’s STAR1 humanoid robot, XHAND1 can handle factory tasks, logistics, or even household chores like pet-sitting. For streamers, this could possibly translate into content variety—using the hand for non-gaming stunts like opening fan mail or assembling props live.

Robotera hasn’t shared pricing, but advanced dexterous hands like the Shadow Hand or RH8D cost thousands. Streamers or esports gamers with big budgets could afford it, but it’s not a casual purchase. However, the official website mentions “contact to buy,” so it’s likely still something you can buy.
