VINTON, La. (KPLC) – Some robotics teams from SWLA took the trip up to Baton Rouge, but are coming home with awards!
The trip was to compete in the VEX Robotics State Championships where three local schools managed to win big.
Team Code-UH-Cola Classic from Vinton Middle School won the Judges Award and took third place in the Teamwork Division.
Team Atlus from Vinton High School were runner-ups in the Teamwork Division and Team Adam Sandler won the Judges Award.
Team Kraken from Barbe High School brought home the highest overall ranking, winning the Excellence Award.
