Reaching the top 500 in Marvel Rivals is not easy, as it requires high individual skill and a coordinated team to pull it off. Furthermore, a player needs to spend countless hours grinding competitive matches to rank up. The task is particularly difficult when solo queuing, as every match pairs you up with teammates with varied skill levels, resulting in inconsistent victories.
While queuing with a six-member team can be immensely beneficial to climb ranks faster, it’s not practical most of the time. Furthermore, recent changes to competitive in Marvel Rivals Season 2 allow players in Eternity and above to only duo queue.
So, how do you reach the Top 500 in Marvel Rivals while solo queuing? Popular streamer and ex CS pro and Valorant player, Shroud, pointed out a clever strategy to do just that. This article will elaborate on this clever trick that the top 100 players in Marvel Rivals use to secure their spot among the very best.

Shroud reveals secret to reaching Top 500 in Marvel Rivals

Shroud, in his stream, elaborated on a clever trick that the top 100 players in Marvel Rivals use to reach the very top of the leaderboard. The trick is to climb ranks with multiple accounts. Seeing the inconsistencies in finding good teammates in every match, using multiple accounts makes sure you eventually reach the highest rank. Here’s what Shroud said:
“If you have a bad string of teammates, you lose. If you have a good string of teammates, you win. So if you’re on a bad string, you’re going to derank. If you’re on a good string, you’re going to climb like crazy.
“So you just keep making more accounts, and one of those accounts will eventually get there. Every single person does this. Every single person in the Top 100 does this.”
The only downside to this trick is the time investment required to pull it off. Players will need to keep grinding for multiple hours on multiple accounts for days on end, to eventually reach Top 500 in Marvel Rivals by the end of the season.
If you have time on hand and have already developed your game sense and aiming skills, grinding ranked on multiple accounts could get you to the Top 500 in Marvel Rivals.
