AI in education brings numerous advantages but comes with a few of its own issues as well:
Safety and Privacy of Data: AI systems customize learning experiences by using massive amounts of data collected from students. Providing adequate safety and privacy of data is a worrying aspect as exposed confidential data can trigger serious moral problems.
Expensive to Implement: The deployment of AI in education requires huge expenditure on infrastructure and advanced technology. This puts many institutions of education particularly in poor areas at great financial risk without the possibility of offering AI-centered solutions.
Low reliance on genuine learning: Overdependence on AI systems fuels the disintegration of critical thinking and problem solving so necessary in real world situations. To ensure efficiency, there is need to employ a combination of AI support and basic educational techniques.
Bias In Ai Algorithms: AI systems have the capabilities to develop biases inadvertently based on the data they have been trained on. As in the fairness and inclusivity in all AI driven educational tools is and always will be a work in progress.
