Twenty-eight teams of high-schoolers from nine districts came together at Franklin Area High School on Monday morning to test the mettle of their robots.

The school was host to a VEX Robotics competition for grades 8 through 12, giving students a chance to put their building, programming, teamwork and communication skills to the test.
