Fortnite has been undoubtedly one of the biggest games in the industry for some time now. Despite being released eight years ago, there has been no shortage of craze surrounding the game by the fans.
However, sometimes this craze has to cease as the game occasionally enters into downtime because of upcoming updates. But that doesn’t seem to be the issue yesterday when many fans across the globe complained about the server issue of the game.

Is Fortnite down today

On April 3 Wednesday around 8:30 pm, there were about 5000 reports from the fans from the US regarding the server issue of Fortnite on Downdetector. The major concern of that report was fans were experiencing server difficulty loading the game and they faced server glitches too.
It seems the server outage spree isn’t letting Fortnite go, as this was the second consecutive instance after April 2. The official Fortnite Status account posted about the situation on Twitter and has assured us to “resolve” it. According to its statement, the major issue is “with the Discover lobby not loading for players to select and queue for games.”

However, fans had to face a similar kind of situation a few days back when they were denied to matchmake and select games in the lobby. This marked the first time that Fortnite con-current player count dropped to zero.
The Discovery Tab, which gives players the choice to choose from the different game modes, was absolutely broken, making the game unplayable. This server outage was a result of downtime for the traditional April Fools update aka the 34.20 update which brought the OG Season 3 Battle Pass as well.
As the official status handle of Fortnite has assured us about fixing this server outage, our middle fingers are crossed so that we can jump into the battlefield as soon as possible!
