Bachelor’s degree in artificial intelligence among four new degrees coming to Miami University

Students attending Miami University could soon be graduating with an undergraduate degree in artificial intelligence.Approved last week by the university’s Board of Trustees, a Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence is one of four new academic degrees coming to the school’s roster of programs.Also approved was a Bachelor of Arts in World Languages and Cultures, a Bachelor of Science in Education for Inclusive Education and a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science.Miami is the latest university in the area to offer some sort of program in AI. Last year, Northern Kentucky University became the first university in the region to offer an artificial intelligence minor. This past school year was the first in which students at NKU could enroll in the program.The University of Cincinnati is also offering multiple programs and classes, across multiple colleges, that deal with AI.
