WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – UNCW is holding a GameCon event this weekend that will be a free-entry event.
The convention is presented by UNCW Esports and will feature tournaments, vendors, free-to-play tabletop + video games, raffles, and more.
The event will have the following schedule:
- Doors open at 10 a.m.
- Dungeons & Dragons Rumble at 11 a.m.
- Super Smash Bros Singles Tournament at noon
- Magic The Gathering Draft at 1 p.m.
- Mini RPG One-Shot at 2 p.m.
- Cosplay Competition at 3 p.m.
- Beat Saber 2v2 Amateur Tournament at 3 p.m.
- Beat Saber 2v2 Pro Tournament at 4 p.m.
A C3 Rocket League Tournament Finals with college teams will be open to viewing all day. Participants can register for up to two tournaments.
The event will be held on April 6 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Watson Education Building. Parking will be available on the east deck of the Watson Building.
