HUNTINGTON — Scholastic esports, or scholastic electronic sports, at Spring Valley High School (SVHS) in Huntington has grown significantly since it got its start in the late 2010s and especially this year.
According to Will Totten, assistant principal, Career Technical Education (CTE) administrator and esports coach at SVHS, this year, SVHS’s scholastic esports has more than 60 players making up 18 active esports teams that play in 10 different game titles.
