Rakuten Group, Inc. will hold an online e-sports event “Rakuten esports cup: New Currents” on Saturday, April 19, 2025. The 9th annual event will feature the online action game “Warlander,” in which up to 100 players will battle it out simultaneously, with more than 80 popular streamers and VTubers competing. The event will be moderated by the well-known Yasushi Hiraiwa, and guests will include rapper Karma Rofu and streamer Oniya. During the interval, salesman Haruoka Mantaro will introduce Rakuten Ichiba coupons and play mini-games.
